The house is sited on higher ground overlooking the neighbourhood with stoic calmness. The facade consists of storey high metal screens that are operated mechanically, opening and closing in a rhythmic movement that animates the street occasionally.  The huge programmatic requirements are packed into a box that is lifted off the ground, freeing it for a huge living hall that can accommodate the owner’s large family gatherings. The impressive volume overhangs and sheltered the outdoor landscape and a luxurious lap pool. The simple geometric form with strong linear lines contrast to the meticulous detailing of the screens and use of exotic natural stone claddings.
